OVERVIEW
This ten-day combination package delivers Tanzania's two signature experiences: wildlife safari in legendary Northern Circuit parks and tropical beach relaxation on Zanzibar. The format has become Tanzania tourism's most popular structure because it balances active safari adventure with beach decompression.
Days 1–5 follow our Classic 5-Day Northern Circuit Safari (Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater), providing comprehensive Big Five wildlife viewing and Great Migration encounters (seasonal). Days 6–10 transition to Zanzibar for Stone Town cultural exploration and beach resort leisure—perfect recovery after safari's early mornings and vehicle time.
The combination booking provides logistical efficiency (we handle flight transfers between Arusha and Zanzibar), slight cost savings versus separate bookings, and coherent narrative arc from wildlife immersion to coastal relaxation.

DETAILED ITINERARY
Early morning departure from Arusha (6:30 AM), 2.5-hour drive to Tarangire, full-day game drive with packed lunch, wildlife concentrate around Tarangire River during dry season, overnight at partner accommodation near park boundary.
Morning departure through Karatu and Ngorongoro Conservation Area with brief stops at viewpoints, afternoon arrival in Serengeti for evening game drive, overnight in Seronera (Central Serengeti) area
Early morning and late afternoon game drives with mid-day rest at accommodation, focus on predator-rich Seronera Valley with resident lion prides, leopards in acacia groves, and seasonal migration movements, overnight in Serengeti.

Pre-dawn descent into 600m deep crater for 5–6 hour game drive on crater floor with exceptional wildlife density including Black Rhino, mid-afternoon ascent and return to Arusha, arrival approximately 6:00 PM.
Morning flight from Arusha to Zanzibar (90 minutes), arrival transfer to Stone Town hotel, afternoon Stone Town walking tour, overnight Stone Town
Spice tour and transfer to beach resort (Day 7), two full beach days with optional activities including snorkelling, diving, Prison Island, dhow cruise, village visits (Days 8–9), overnight beach resort each night.
Morning beach time, transfer to airport for return flight to Arusha or international departure.
